My Piano Journey

My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in music history and piano along with an Master’s in Ethnomusicology.   My college background also includes working with two world-class concert pianists.  I learned proper piano technique which is essential in order for pianists to play musically and avoid injuries.

World Music & Improvisation Classes

Music is a language and we will explore diverse styles of music from different cultures in private online lessons and in group classes that will include games and improvisation to explore creative ways of communicating through music.

A group class on Music Theory an Improvisation is being planned.

Lessons

Lessons include a weekly online private lesson, online recitals twice a year plus a monthly online World Music class.

She’s a great teacher and gives us a lot of freedom with our music. She’s also great to chat with and has extensive musical knowledge which I think helps me learn more about music too. Overall she’s a great person to be around and has a really flexible schedule.

Great and very patient online teacher .

This is our first time hiring a tutor to provide online music lessons to my 6 year old girl . Ms. Suzanne managed to keep her focus to the length of the lesson . My daughter was able to learn notes and songs appropriate for her age . Thanks Ms. Suzanne !
